Local and Special Service Districts ...

The UASD is dedicated to advocating and strengthening special district governance by providing services and support to its members.  The UASD is the only statewide association representing all types of districts, including irrigation, mosquito, water, solid waste, cemetery, electric, fire protection, roads, transportation, health care, animal control, parks and recreation, and sewer... just to name a few.

 Membership in UASD is a special district's investment in the future!  Through membership, special districts take an active role in educating the general public, its constituents, and legislators as to the important role that special districts play in Utah.

 In addition, as a UASD member, special districts receive access to education and training, legislative advocacy, and current information that is crucial to a special district's management and operational effectiveness.

 Companies, Join as an Associate Member ... 

 Associate Members receive recognition on the UASD website as a sponsoring organization.  The UASD website continues to undergo changes and revisions to provide feature-rich content for our members.  This will provide an opportunity for Associate Members to obtain visibility with member and non-member districts.  The result is that during 2007 and the first 6 months of 2008, the number of registered users on the UASD website has increased over 100%!  UASD website hits  have escalated over 800%!
 
Associate members are invited to submit information to the Association regarding their company, such as the services provided, pictures that reflect your services or branding, your website address so that we can provide a hotlink, contact information, etc.
 
Periodically, newsletters are sent to the Association membership.  Associate Members are also recognized in that forum.
 
In addition, Associate Members are eligible to participate as a vendor at the UASD Annual Convention held in November each year.  In that venue, Convention vendors have the opportunity to network and to obtain increased visibility among districts throughout the state.  In addition, Associate Members are eligible to be a sponsor or co-sponsor of a convention event and receive recognition on convention materials and posters.
